Annabelle is a great-looking, sturdy, Northwest trawler built on generations of tradition and seaworthiness and comfort in mind. This Sundowner 30 handles easily and is in turn key condition, ready for her next voyage. Annabelle has been operating as a Race Committee boat for the Northwest Maritime Center sailing regattas which requires her to be in ship-shape condition at all times. Annabelle will make a wonderful new family boat, live-aboard or retirement dream boat for cruising locally or heading north up the Inside Passage. Come take a look and see for yourself!
Upon entering through the main companionway from the aft deck you are greeted by the cozy wood interior of the salon and galley. The interior walls and bulwarks are teak and the cabin soles are teak and holly. The galley features a three burner propane stove and oven, a twin stainless steel sink with pressurized hot water and a refrigerator with a small freezer. The galley and salon have gorgeous views out the many portlights and windows. The L-shaped settee is very comfortable for up to 6 and lowers easily to become a double bed. The cabin is kept warm at anchor and underway by a Dickinson Newport wood stove.
Walking forward up into the wheelhouse you have a commanding 360-degree view of your surroundings. Annabelle cruises comfortably at 7-8 knots burning a mere ¾ gallons/hr. Her diesel powered Ford Lehman fires right up with all 90hp ready to help you dock, push through currents or idle along. The side doors, center windshield and two aft windows all open to create a steady breeze when desired. All the electronics work great and are built to last.
Walking down a few steps from the wheelhouse brings you forward to the main cabin. The pullman’s berth is very comfortable, roomy and shaped more like a rectangle than a V, giving two people a very comfortable sleeping experience. Next to the berth is a bench seat and a hanging closet with bar and shelves. The interior teak wood lines and lighting make this cabin incredibly cozy. The hatch above opens easily to bring a breeze down. Across from the closet is the door to the head. The head has a shower and an Airhead composting toilet, http://www.airheadtoilet.com. These heads are very popular on boats for being easy to use, non-clogging and for their lack of smell. With a pull of the shower curtain, the head easily transforms into a shower stall.
Out on deck you’ll find lots of space to move around, grill your day’s catch, kick back and relax. The roof area above the wheelhouse is perfect for stowing kayaks and paddle boards. Walking the decks and down below on Annabelle you can easily imagine the multitude of adventures and experiences that her next owners will have. She’s a ship fit into a compact yet well laid out and comfortable 30 feet. Come down to take a look or schedule a FaceTime Viewing.
